Practical information
The MARS Annual Symposium 2026 takes place from midday on Wednesday 9 September to midday on Friday 11 September 2026 on the campus of Lancaster University, UK.
Location & Venue#
The symposium will be held in the Faraday Complex on the Lancaster University campus.
Reaching the campus from Lancaster city centre#
By public transport: Several buses run on a regular basis between Lancaster and campus, including the lines 41, 42, 1A, 4, and 100. Journey time is approximately 15 min (41, 42, 1A) and 25 min (4 and 100), respectively. The line 4 directly connects the train station to campus, whereas the other bus lines operate from the nearby city centre.
By taxi: There is a taxi rank at the station, but if one is not available there are several local taxi services, e.g.:
